The fishing has been mediocre at best but we've been picking away at them. Finished up the majority of our tournaments and stayed pretty consistent. Tied for second in the Kona throw down and got third in the lure maker challenge. Had a winning fish up in both tournaments but never got a solid bite out of them. One fish we had up was possibly the biggest any of us on board had ever seen. She followed us for about a minute but never gave us a shot. #lastchancesportfishing #kon

We rounded out the month with another fish over 500 and two consecutive days where we caught 4 large yellowfin. In all we caught 14 big yellowfin and 14 blue marlin with two of them over 500. Lost count of the short nose spearfish we caught as well as mahi mahi and onos. The fishing was relatively slow for the Kona fleet over the past week or so but we were able to make the best of it. We caught 7 blue marlin biggest being around 500 as well as a solid 375. 8 short nose spearfish as well as catching the Hawaii billfish slam with 2 blue marlin 2 spearfish and a huge striped marlin all in one day. We also had 5 big yellowfin tuna with catching 4 of those in one day. The numbers of blue marlin that were around were pretty low but we fished we

The onos are starting to show so we decided to try a quick morning run on the inside. Got lucky and went 2 for 3 on them. Went out wide for marlin and found a decent size net that was holding some mahi mani. Caught 8 nice size mahis and went back to the marlin trolling. No blue bites but managed to find a nice short nose spearfish.
